Artefaks is a sextych body that is grounded in the concept of death and tragedy, set in a fictional village based on an interpretation of a mooi indië landscape.

Loosely inspired by the Javanese folk story Timun Mas, it features archetypal folk characters such as the little girl and the giant, or in Artefaks, a giant kitten.

Unlike the original tale's happy ending, Artefaks takes a dark turn where both the girl and her feline predator meet their demise. The event ends without any prey and predator, the power dynamics cease to exist, and the food chain is prematurely terminated.
A girl was pondering without much awareness of the lurking creature behind.

Introducing a population of villagers who were plowing the field.

As the girl realized that she was in imminent danger, she started running.

The adrenaline continued as fellow villagers attempted to defeat the beast by throwing stones.

But alas! Both the human girl and the feline predator accidentally fell to their deaths.

The contorted body of the dead characters.
